Description: Popular fruit grown in many parts of the US, apples are an instantly recognizable and easily obtained food. It is low in vitamins and is comprised mostly of cellulose and sugars so it is a good energy food and treat but has little benefit otherwise.


Preparation/Storage:
Serve fresh or dry, puree, or bake apple and serve with no added sugar.
